Put Him to Bed

I can't decide if this kid is coming down with a fever or if he's just been playing so hard all day that now he's dazed and pink.

Hey moose and meeses, just a quick note to say that this blog is not abandoned or forgotten. I had a weird month and not much online time. I'm ready to get back to drifting through the internets, trawling for the unusual and the beautiful.

Very French

"Tart cards" is what the English call those little paper ads for call girls that get posted in phone booths and such there. So Wallpaper* magazine asked a bunch of artists to make tart cards based on the characteristics of different fonts.. And I sort of love them a lot.

Mr. Waters' Neighborhood

When I saw this in the theater, a couple actually waked out during one scene and never came back. A youngish couple. It's a John Waters flick that got an NC-17 rating - what do you suppose they were expecting?
