Sea Monsters

How much do you suppose sea monster hunters make in today's economy?

Depends on how many people watch the documentary that gets made.

Very good point.

However, in order for said documentary to be aired, there can be no actual capture or footage of any sea monsters. Only some vague fuzziness on the sonar will do, followed by smirking skeptics telling us how silly we are for believing in sea monsters.

Along with some eerie music and maybe a few eyewitness accounts from the late 1800s.

Look, there are lots and lots of sea monsters. They are just wily beastes. No one can catch one! They are too big! Too smart! Too old! Their laughter at us tiny, puny humans oxygenates the sea and is the cause of tides.

Oh May. I love you.

But then it should be easier to catch one, because they'd be every damn where.

Waiting for the oceans to rise again?

Ha. Actually, I have no idea what they are waiting for.

A polite invitation? Better healthcare? The shrimp special at Red Lobster?
