moving the new motor

A bunch of folks built rafts out of trash a couple years ago, see, and went down the Mississippi River one summer. And if just knowing that people are still doing that doesn't make you happy, well, we're different sorts of people.

I saw a special about a guy somewhere in the Caribbean doing something similar. He was growing some of his own food on top of the raft too. Pretty freaking cool.

Steph: I saw that, but he'd actually built his own island, which was awesome. He lives there with his dog and a monkey or something.

Mama: knew it would!

Pic reminds me a bit of 'Waterworld' which everybody slated but I actually thought was a decent movie.

*ducks*

I just want to know how everyone on Waterworld was so damn dirty.

That kid's shorts are being pulled off by that motor! Watch out kid!

Awesome!! I still giggle when I look at it, it seems like they are literally trying to "push" it down (or up) the river... Why won't someone do this down the Columbia? there would be people lining the banks to watch. I would bring my camping chair and an otter pop. Enough for everyone. 'Cause it would be summer, of course...

That Hank said...

Heck, skip the otter pops and just get folks together and build a boat!

If I built a boat it would probably sink. So looking at pictures like this lets me be lazy and happy.

I want a boat.

When I am rich I will buy you a boat with a library in it.
