And yet, you still like the sea?

Sure. I'd love to go to sea. I just don't trust it not to get me.

I feel that same exact way. When I went sailing in the Keys, one day we went far out in the ocean (I think we were in about 200 foot waters or so) and we all just jumped in. I could have easily panicked myself to death just imaging all that was underneath me (I just got made chills thinking about it). The light shined down and made ribbons of beautiful, shimmering water, but all I could imagine was a giant creature swallowing me up or pulling me down into the depths of cold, watery, darkness. Ahhh!

You know it's true! Every body of water houses a giant beast. Even sometimes puddles. Maybe it's not a puddle at all, maybe it is actually just the tiny showy bit of a giant cavern, filled with polar bears and squids. You never know.

Y'all said it better than I could. Talk about your primal fears.

It is indeed a primal fear.

I wonder if the squid is trying to rescue the bear from the people who somehow believe that their tiny little harpoons will somehow affect the polar bear?
Also, I love the skeleton in the ice at the top.

Oh and sorry for all of these really late comments.

Late comments are awesome. It reminds me of cool stuff I've already posted.

I like your take on the bear and squid. Suddenly they strike me as pals, and the squid is saying, "Quit fucking around with those guys and let's go mess with a whale."
