I'm going to add a "field" tag, because people going out to the back 40 to take naughty pictures was evidently a thing. I've seen several. I've nervous for her around that barb wire.
Wouldn't it be weird if you found one of these pictures and it turned out to be your grandmother? I would not have put it past either of my grandmothers to have pictures like this. My guess is they would have been talked into it. "Nobody will ever see it but us!" Ah, the days before the internet!
I doubt Hank would find a picture of any of HIS grandmothers posing like that. But then again, you never know. Hank- I"m with you on the barbed wire. Yikes! Strange contrast between the softness of the woman's body and that barbed wire.
I love that you still call your mom, Mama. My kids are 16 and almost 18 and I keep thinking that they are going to start calling me mom but so far it has been Mama. It makes me so happy.

Mama, that's why I picked this one. Do you suppose the picture taker was the one intended to keep it, or was it taken for a sweetheart elsewhere?
