We draw lines on the Earth, and then we create elaborate rituals involving gods, gender reversal, modified violence, and group loyalty to mark our passage of those lines. It''s amazing to me what we do, as humans, to decorate our time here.

Don't get me wrong, I love that about us.
I felt that way about all that Blue Moon business... so there's two full moons in one month. The moon cycles are a natural occurance, but the fact that they land twice in a human-made month... well, anyway. So it goes. Any reason for a party :).
