Panama-Pacific Typewriter

I'm a typewriter obsessive. I own at least 4, all manual, all working. I love the smell, the sound, and the type itself. I use them for zines all the time. Staples still carries the ribbons, in case you want to try it yourself, and you can get a not-too-beat-up typewriter at any flea market or thrift store even now.

I love my old trash typewriter on the front porch.

They're a perfect form of style and function.

Yeah, computer keyboards just don't have the style factor. Although maybe in a couple years keyboards will be so cool and we'll be nostalgic about them too.

That shit is crazy! I don't think I could use those computers for anything but writing Vampire or Wild Wild West fiction on.

I'm pretty sure that's what their owners use them for, too. Google steam punk - those guys make all kinds of oddball stuff.
