I don't know why, but Emotional Rescue by the Stones is going through my head... irrelevant, I know...

Harry Truman.

John: You know, sometimes I do think of these as stills from my movie, and how that scene would be scored.

A: Harry Truman?

Wonder if he made a clean break?

Me, too. I sort of assume this was a set up shot, but I want it not to be.

I think it was a set up shot, but it made me think about how much has changed since then. Now that everyone has cameras on them all the time, set up shots are no longer considered to be quite the height of hilarity they once were. Every one wants it to be real, but I like that they came up with this idea and made it happen. Especially when cameras were relatively scarce. Pretty sweet.

Of course, now film cameras are scarce. I feel a real urge to get into film photography right now, and it's directly from doing this blog.

You should. We could turn a closet into a darkroom.

Or we could turn the darkroom at mom's back into a darkroom. Anyway, I just bought a very cheap film camera on the online. It'll be here in a couple days. 120mm Holga, no flash. I got some color film, for the parade party.
